Baby has a name (at last!)
Let me present to you (again!) Lucas Edgar Sweetnam:

Lucas was a name that we were considering for a while as it is a name that works extremely well in both Polish and English. However it just took us some time to see if he looks like a Lucas if that makes any sense! His second name; Edgar, was my fathers name who if he were still alive today would have seen his first grandchild arrive home.
To my surprise I arrived at the maternity hospital this morning to find out that they would allow Sylwia and Lucas to come home today. This was great because my mother arrived home from hospital herself this afternoon so she couldn’t wait to see her first grandchild. Although my mother is now doing very well herself after her operation last week, she wouldn’t have been able to make it to the maternity hospital.
We have been home now since 5pm and Lucas hasn’t cried even once. Not even during all the photos being taken by various relatives and myself of course. He has just been fed and is now snoozing away happy out in his moses basket (thanks Ryan and Sharon) while Sylwia takes a nap. Needless to say that we hope that he continues to be this good.
Now if you would excuse me, I’m off to pinch myself again to see if all this is really true because it is just a great feeling
Lucas Edgar Sweetnam has a nice ring to it.
Shoot anyone who calls him Les!
Enjoy every moment and don’t blink, or his will shoot up to the sky and pass you by!
aww what a cute pic
Thanks Grannymar, Thanks Dan! His first night home went very well. He was absolutely no bother at all
Can’t wait to meet him when I get home at Xmas, Bon félications encore mon amie. XXX
Hi Catherine,
Looking forward to seeing ye when ye get back. He should be a good bit bigger by then but hopefully he will still be as good as he is now!
Talk to you soon.
Cute little fella…
Best of luck to you all….
Cheers Kieran,
I see the problems you were having with Imagine/Gaelic Telecom have been sorted.
Congrats on the new arrival!
Cheers Aaron – He is one week old today. It’s an absolutely amazing experience.
Be Gad and isn’t that a good shtrong name for a chiseller!
Congratulations dude!! He’s a beautiful ickle button
Thanks K8
He has a thirst like his father!
I really like those names as they both work well in English and Polish. I was considering Jaropełek (Sylwia will have fun with that name – it just sounds funny) :]
Hi Robert,
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to both. I am sorry I haven’t been around lately but this news is just wonderful.
Lucas Edgar is a great name. I really think parents need to consider the child’s future when naming them (school friends can be mean as well as having to spell a name every single time the entire life span can be tiring). And you both did well.
Lucas looks so cute, a healthy baby. I am wishing him a happy, long life with his loved ones.
Wonderful indeed.
Gx
Thanks Gaye!
He is still as good as gold. He is sleeping very well and seems to be more than content at the moment
