Lucas had his 6 week checkup on Monday despite the fact that he was actually 7 weeks old. No fear of him at all. He is 63cm and 13lbs (5.9kg). He has an appointment on Monday next for his first immunisation shots. The last 7 weeks have been like a blur but helped by the fact he is still sleeping through the night which is something that we hope will continue for a long long time.

Given the rate that he has been growing, the moses basket had become a bit too small for him but once again Ryan and Sharon came to the rescue. Now Lucas has a rather nice swinging cot downstairs to sleep in during the day. Guys, I cannot thank you enough and I hope Libby’s cold is much better.

Back when Lucas was born my mother decided to embarrass me by dragging out my old baby album. While everyone was making comparisons and poking through it she noted that I was actually two weeks old before my first baby photo was taken. Back then my father was big into photography and actually developed the photos himself.

Skip forward 31 years and I can say safely that we have at least one picture of Lucas from every day since he was born! Be they on either my mobile phone or camera or Sylwias. By the time he will be ready to start his own family I reckon there will be tens of thousands of pictures to sift through. Provided of course that I remember to back them up again and again and again.

Naturally I have to finish off with a couple of pictures of the little man himself so here he is looking rather serious in the first photo and quite happy after a spin in the car in the second.
