There will be a new two part special of Red Dwarf to be shown on Dave over the easter weekend.

Of course this isn’t good news unless you can actually receive Dave but I’m sure the episodes will appear online in a matter of hours after broadcast!

Hi – found this via your comment on The National Lottie’s ESB post and I’m glad I did. NEW RED DWARF??? I think I might cry with excitement.

Great – so have they scrapped the movie idea altogether then? I hope so, it just didn’t sit right with me. I wonder will Rob Grant be involved in it.

A big huzzah for Sky TV!!!

    @ Darren & Lottie – welcome!

It’s like a birthday present for me because my birthday is Easter Sunday! It should help lift the depression of that day brought on by being another year older!

It’s pretty bad news to be honest.

Have you heard about how they couldn’t hire Norman Lovett because they don’t have enough funds to pay him a minuscule wage.

Then you’ve to remember how bad the post-Grant stuff was.

B’dum, there is that danger. But as it is a special there is always a chance that it might have potential. To be fair the later seasons were pretty bad alright.

Anyway, all we can do is keep our fingers crossed. AFAIK Grant is involved in the specials.
