I’m a Twit!

After months of resisting and pretending it didn’t exist I finally signed up for Twitter. All the fears that I had before that discouraged me from signing up before have been realised. I’m flaming addicted to it. At the moment it is probably the novelty factor but that novelty factor has led me to install Tweetdeck on my MacBook and my PC and Twitterific on my broken iPhone.

There should now be a widget somewhere on the right of this post with my most recent ‘tweets’ and should you for some reason feel like following me on twitter you can do so by following “rgsweetnam

Say goodbye to your evenings & weekends! I’ve lost many an evening just sifting through my timeline. 10 times better than any other social network though!

I’ve already lost half the day! I’m almost sorry I didn’t wait until my exams were over!

i signed up a couple of weeks ago, didn’t really get into it + deleted. it seems like a low-energy version of blogging for when you can’t be arsed to post a full blog entry

if you get a lot of followers you might be able to dig your way out of the recession with http://be-a-magpie.com

I didn’t think I would get into it Dan but I’m hooked. Loads of mad stuff pop up from time to time :)

I had the same worries about joining. I could see myself locked to my desk for hours on end trying to feed my new obsession, much in the same way I did with the blog. But there’s just something about Twitter that reallydoens’t interest me much. I rarely log on and only spend 10 mins there at a time. Long may it last I say.
