Can anyone solve the riddle below? No prizes unfortunately.

Someone in Brazil changed their theme on blogspot and very nice it is too I have to say. His design is excellent but for one thing. He is hotlinking to an image on my server. I’m getting hundred of hits for it so I figured I might goatse him.

I decided not to go for the full on goatse and instead substituted in a picture of an erect penis I got on wikipedia. I have a screenshot but obviously it is not safe for work so you need to click below to see what it looked like after I made the switch:

“Prawo Jazdy” is Polish for “Driving Licence”

Apparently unlike our paper licences, the Polish one is a credit card sized ID type jobby. With “Prawo Jazdy” written in big letters along the top which our unwitting Gardai took to be the owners first and last names!

Even more so these days,  but apparently a French and British submarine collided “somewhere in the Atlantic.” And  a couple of Russian naval vessels deposited 300 tonnes of heavy fuel oil as a result of a refuelling incident just 50 miles from Fastnet Rock, Hmm..

Sounds incredibly suspicious does it not?

It is well known that naval forces around the planet routinely watch each other. Because if they weren’t then they wouldn’t be doing their job would they?

After all, it wasn’t all that long ago that a Chinese submarine surfaced right in the middle of an American aircraft carrier battle group?

So two damaged nuclear powered and nuclear armed submarines and an incident involving 300 tonnes of accidental Russian pollution  just a few miles off the Irish coast are supposedly unrelated?

Look at an atlas and any idiot could tell you that it would be no surprise to see a British or French submarine passing close to the Irish coastline but a few Russian ships refuelling by their own admission just 50 miles off the coast?

And you can be sure that if the Russian surface fleet were dandying about near our territorial waters spilling bunker oil all over the place that there would be at least one Russian submarine not all that far away.

It looks like they use Squid as a reverse proxy/load balancer like myself. Well it seems that at the moment their backend servers have fallen off the face of the planet!

Sadly I’ve had to cancel my order.

Unfortunately Rockstar have decided to embed SecuROM DRM on the PC edition. This means that they (Rockstar) install software that you do not agree to installing on your computer. The great thing is that you cannot competely remove the SecuROM shite. It’s a virus or trojan horse by another name. Even if you remove GTA IV the securom shit stays in place.

If that’s not a virus then I don’t know what is.

Anyway!

Thank you Rockstar! I’ve saved myself about €65. I have no choice now but to pirate your software. If you think I will let any form of DRM software,  not least of all SecuROM near my PC you have another thing coming.

I was about to buy your product but sadly your terms and conditions are unacceptable. Consequently if you feel it necessary to install DRM software on my PC without my permission (which I consider unacceptable) then I consider it only perfectly fair to install a ‘sanitised’ version of your software on my PC without your permission.

You have decided to treat me as if I am a thief so now I believe I have no choice but to become one.

I hope you understand but I doubt it somehow.

I flashed my lights and you ignored me. There was no way that you could not have known I was there. All you had to do was move over into the lane you were actually supposed to be in and let me pass. So I had no choice but to recall the rules of the road out of the depths of my memory for scenarios like this. Ah yes, there it was. You can overtake a vehicle on the left if the vehicle or traffic in the right lane is moving slower than you, provided it is safe to do so. As you were only doing about 35 miles per hours I deemed it quite safe to do so.

Well didn’t that wake you up and snap you to your senses? You wasted no time in flashing your headlights at for me doing what I could legally do despite you not doing what you were supposed to do.

Mind you, I think it was when I gave you the two fingered salute while you were behind me was the defining moment that resulted in you abandoning your 30 odd mile per hour cruise and deciding to race up behind me as close as you could while I was approaching 70 M.P.H.

But with me being a road aware and generally cautious and courteous driver I decided to move over in to the hard shoulder to allow you to pass me and allow you to vent your rage with sheer unadulterated speed. I reckon you must have been doing at least 100 when you passed me and started to pull away, far away into the distance you went.

Imagine my shock and guilt when about three miles later I saw you parked on the hard shoulder. And a Garda car with blue flashing lights pulled in front of you! I was aghast.

Actually I wasn’t guilty at all. I was delighted. I guess that is two penalty points and if you were doing anything near the speed you were when you passed me I trust you enjoy your day out in court.
