You should be fine John,

As long as the car is in pretty good nick you should be good to go. Best tip I can give you is to make sure all your lights are working before you go. Including the parking lights.

640kb should be enough for anyone

In recent days I have been writing code for a thing with 128 bytes of RAM. Its amazing how much you can write without actually using any of the RAM..
